Last updated: July 12, 2026
1. Introduction
Robin App ("Robin," "we," "us," or "our") operates the Robin mobile application (the "App"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, store, and protect your personal information when you use our App.
By using Robin, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App.
2. Information We Collect
We collect only the minimum information necessary to provide the App's functionality:
a) Account Information (Optional)
If you choose to create an account, we collect your email address and a securely hashed password. You may also use Robin without creating an account, in which case no personal information is sent to our servers.
b) User-Created Content
When you are signed in, the following data is stored on our servers to enable syncing across sessions:
- Calendar events (titles, dates, times, and optional notes)
- Dashboard tasks (titles, descriptions, and completion status)
For users without an account, all content remains stored locally on your device and is never transmitted to our servers.
c) Voice Data
Robin supports voice commands to create events and tasks. All voice processing occurs entirely on your device. We do not record, store, or transmit any audio data to external servers.
d) Preferences
Your theme preference (light or dark mode) is stored locally on your device and is not transmitted to our servers.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect solely to:
- Provide and maintain the App's core functionality
- Authenticate your account and secure your data
- Sync your calendar events and tasks across sessions
- Respond to support requests
We do not use your data for advertising, profiling, or any purpose unrelated to the App's functionality.
4. Data Storage and Security
For users with an account, your data is stored using Supabase, a secure cloud-based backend service hosted on supabase.com. Data in transit is encrypted using TLS (Transport Layer Security). Passwords are securely hashed and never stored in plain text.
For users without an account, all data is stored locally on your device using the operating system's built-in storage mechanisms.
While we implement industry-standard security measures, no method of electronic storage or transmission is 100% secure. We cannot guarantee absolute security but are committed to protecting your data to the best of our ability.
5. Third-Party Services
Robin uses the following third-party service to operate:
- Supabase (supabase.com) — Provides user authentication and cloud database services for logged-in users. Supabase's privacy policy is available at supabase.com/privacy.
We do not integrate any third-party analytics, advertising, or tracking SDKs into the App. No data is shared with or sold to third parties.
6. Your Rights
You have the following rights regarding your personal data:
- Access: You can view all your data within the App at any time.
